On behalf of our school community, I would like to welcome you to our school website.
I hope that our website will give you an insight into the way we work and provide you with the information you need, but please feel free to get in touch if you have additional questions.
We are a small rural school located near the towns of Hitchin and Stevenage with 15 places per year group in 4 classes, offering a nurturing and inclusive education. We are proud to offer a wide range of excellent opportunities for all pupils and that we are a vibrant, happy and caring community. Everyone who visits our school agrees that it is a very special place.
The school has some of the best school grounds of any primary school, including well-equipped play areas, a large school field, a thriving vegetable garden and a dedicated Forest School and wildlife area with fields beyond. We have 4 bright and good-sized classrooms as well as a beautiful Library, a Hall with a stage for the performing arts, and a Life Learning Room for wider curriculum learning. The classes are organised into a small Reception class of no more than 15 pupils, year 1 & 2, year 3 & 4 and year 5 &6. There are also excellent facilities for computing, with interactive touch screens in all learning spaces, a laptop per pupil, visualisers and coding robots. There is disabled access to all areas of the school.
Working together, we are confident that when your child leaves Wymondley they will be a respectful, responsible and remarkable young person who is well-equipped to continue their learning journey.
Visitors are warmly welcomed, and we look forward to showing you around the school so that you can see for yourself what makes our school so special.
